Platter Prep

Use the images as your guide

Step 1: Mom's this step is for you! Cut an apple into slices, and using the cookie cutter press out shamrock shapes! I found the plastic cookie cutters hard to get through the apple slices so you might have to do this step for your kids if they are having difficulty!

Step 2: Wash and prepare the additional fruits and veggies (slices are small peppers - yellow and orange and the broccoli)

Platter Layout

Begin with a small wood board and two bowls. A narrow dipping bowl and a small flat bowl.

Place them opposite each other.

Step 1: Place small cherry tomatoes in a curve connecting it from one bowl to the other bowl.

Step 2: Place orange pepper slices beside the cherry tomatoes, always connecting between the two bowls.

Step 3: Place yellow peppers beside the orange pepper slices still making a small curve.

Step 4: Take green grapes and line them up along the yellow peppers.

Step 5: Line up blueberries along the grapes.

Step 6: Add shamrock apple pieces at the base of the board.

Step 7: Place a little broccoli shamrock between the apple shamrocks by adding a big broccoli flower with two smaller broccoli flowers on either side.

Step 8: Fill the flat bowl with popcorn.

Step 9: Fill the little narrow bowl with chickpeas!

Say "Grill Cheese"!

Add a fun grill cheese sandwich with the rainbow platter. Kids can use any plastic cookie cutter shape they like to make their sandwich. I used my large shamrock cutter to make my grill cheese sandwich. Just make sure if little one's are doing this, it is a plastic cookie cutter ;)

You can make a grill cheese, like I did, or a cheese sandwich!

Make lunch time stylish with the retro TV tray that has a modern look!
