Mardi Gras is French for 'Fat Tuesday'. It is the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, and it was the practice to eat rich, fatty foods before fasting for lent.

I can't think of any better way of indulging in rich foods like charcuterie and cheese.

The traditional colors associated with Mardi Gras are purple, green and gold. Therefore, surprise you guest with a charcuterie board that celebrates the colors, food and fun of Mardi Gras!
