A fun twist on the fortune cookie, make Salami Fortunes for your family and friends.
You will need:
A package of dry salami rounds, approximately 2" to 3" round.
A couple of bamboo skewers.
A board to place them on.
I hope my step-by-step instructions and photos on how to make fortune salami's will inspire you to try making them.
How to make Salami Fortunes
Let's get started!
Begin with salami rounds and a skewer.
Pick up a salami round and fold in each side of the salami creating a tube.
Hold the salami ends in the center.
Take your finger and place it in the middle on the other side of the salami.
Bring the two ends of the tube together, folding between your finger.
Hold the ends together.
Take the skewer and pierce through the two ends of the salami round.
Repeat the process, creating multiple salami fortunes.
Leave the salami on the skewer for about 10 minutes so the salami can take form.
Either place the skewer on your platter or slowly slip off each fortune salami carefully and place on your platter.
